Title: Bereavement and Children's Emotional Development: Children's Capacity to Love, Learn & Trust  Places still available

Welcome to the Supporting Relationships and Families (SRF) website. SRF, (formerly known as Separation and Reunion Forum), is a membership organisation, dedicated  to raising awareness of the long-lasting traumatic effects on the emotional well-being of young children and families who have experienced broken attachments, separation and loss.

We also aim to highlight the need for sensitive counselling and therapeutic services to break the circle of insecure attachments, and the inter-generational nature of attachment patterns in families.

OLA  ARALEPO

Finding Our Voice(s): Stand Up Therapy @ Rich Mix Shoreditch: Sun 29 Jan 6.00 pm.

What voices influence our 'sense of belonging'? What does this even mean? This is the theme explored, from the perspective of a British born psychotherapist of Yoruba (Nigerian) parents, at this first public performance of Stand Up Therapy. Ola is a volunteer/member of SRF and has been researching the therapeutic value of humorously telling one's story, both for the narrator and the audience. Could this be employed as a therapeutic intervention? You are invited to this event to find out.
